NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association >> 03/23

So let me start by saying we are in contact with the DNR about trying to get some more money to finish the season out for grooming. We have enough left for four days unless the DNR comes through. We should know more tomorrow, but we are not grooming until we know what’s going on or we may switch it up to every other day until the end of the season or wait till Friday and groom until we’re done. It’s kind of up in the air right now, but we will let you know.

NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via Trails End Lodging >> 03/23

? Good Morning from Windy Corners! ?️❄️

We were treated to an absolutely stunning sunrise this morning—painted skies, crisp air, and just enough fresh snow to make everything sparkle. ✨

Who else is fired up to ride this week? ?

Conditions are shaping up for some seriously great spring snowmobiling—smooth trails, cool temps, and that perfect late-season throttle therapy.

? Let’s hear it:
• Where are you riding this week?
• Trail cruising or off trail?
• Who are you riding with?

Drop your plans (and pics if you’ve got ’em ??) and let’s get the community buzzing!
Winter’s not done yet… and neither are we. Ride safe & ride right! ❄️?

NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association >> 03/22

Trail 9 9PM

Eh, hour and a half to second stop sign, 10.3 mile, not spinning, good bite but pulling alot of disagreeable heavy snow.

Blade still wants to push up a wad and roll balls off the end.

So, creative dragging it shall be for the time being.

AGAIN, THEY SAY, its actually supposed to get quite cold tonight, what I am able to leave behind is shaved off highs an filled in holes, if it freezes up, should last much longer than the last several grooms.
We shall see. Keep you posted.

10:34 Windy Corners finished, not bragging but its flat, again if temps work with us, it freezes up, should offset any memory underneath, thats what I’m gunning for.

Just turned right to disappear in radio silence, time to get comfy for the long haul,I’ll keep you posted later. ?

Our three groomers will be out on our trails again tonight . All trails will be complete by morning thank you.

NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via Pine Stump >> 03/22

Sunday 3-22

What a weekend for people again!! I think a lot of people came up for a last hoorah

The weathers cooling right back off. This week would be a good week to ride to finish out the “official” trail season

I’m sure the clubs will be working right up to the first of April.

All this snow won’t go away fast!

NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via Trails End Lodging >> 03/22

Good Sunday morning from Windy Corners! ?

Here’s a fresh look at Trail 498 as it rolls into Windy Corners—conditions are looking great! Are you heading out for a ride today? ❄️?️

If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by North Store Follow Me Outfitters and WOLF INN Grill & Spirits to warm up and say hello. Stay safe and enjoy the trails!

NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association >> 03/22

We groomed 9 45 and the south trail down to H40 Trout Lake last night. It was the best we could do considering the condition were a little warm, but we did get it knocked down and it looked decent from the looks of the temperature tonight we should be back in full swing after that.

FROM TNT Trenary Northern Trails >> You will see some improvements on our west end thanks to Forsyth Forward. They have been working on local improvements in and around Forsyth Township. One of their projects was informational map boards for trails. They are still working on getting business information plaques for individual businesses with mileage installed. They are well made and a welcome upgrade to the system! Thanks to all involved! #munising #newberry ... See MoreSee Less

The Forsyth Snowmobile and ATV Club of Gwinn is having the pleasure to work with these map kiosks. Soon we will be installing mileage markers and business sponsors.

That's a bummer. A quick pan might have been the ticket for us diehards who can't face the reality of the end of the riding season. Great work overall this season! Through all the issues thrown at the team this year, you guys kicked it!
