Groomer Ed from TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association was rolling through Windy Corners keeping those trails in tip-top shape! 🙌
If you see him out today, be sure to give a wave and a nod of thanks — and plenty of room to get through! These trails don’t groom themselves, and we sure appreciate the hard work that goes into every mile.

GRAND MARAIS AREA UPDATE via Grand Marais Outfitters Michigan >> 🦌Some pictures from the beach and around town. 🦌 The snowmobile trails are holding up, Sno trails groomers went out last night. ❄ Getting into town on a snowmobile is a little rough, but plenty of snow on the trails and lots of shelf ice on the beach. Morning fog and drizzle are possible with increasing chances for showers this afternoon. A few rumbles of thunder are also possible. Additional showers and a few thunderstorms are expected overnight. Warmer than normal temps continue today in the 30s to mid 40s. Drizzle and or freezing drizzle is possible this morning in the far west and Keweenaw (20% chance). All alone till 8:38 this morning just about back to the Newberry turn! 🥰

Temp bounced 26-29 all night.

30 degrees this morning under a partly cloudy sky. I saw 46 here yesterday at my place.....not good! I`m sure ya`ll are watching the weather as close as we are so you know whats UP. We still have plenty of snow on the ground but the roads are thawed and its tough getting around them. It looks like if we can get by this week it will cool off again late next week and maybe snow a little. Here`s whats been going on the last couple days on the trails.....
After all trails were run Tuesday all the operators reported them as good. We took yesterday off except groomer Mike ran an inspection run thru the south swamp. He said it was holding up good for now but on his way back there was some water showing up on top of the trail. Thats an early sign its on its way out. We are gonna run all trails today/tonight and see what we got. We run drags that work good in the warmer weather so we`ll keep going as long as the weather allows. Hopefully we can make it till the end of the season but it won`t be long before the swamps open up. Keep checking back and I`ll keep ya`ll informed.

The snow hasn’t really taken a hit up this way Bext week looks to cool right back down again for the rest of thr month
I’m sure towns will be getting harder to get in and out of
