GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – 03/01
From groomer Tim-South 443 to 441 done, little ice in a few spots and blowing snow. 88 east of M77 very nice.
From groomer Emmett-North trail can do nothing but get better. Hard as can be but like a frozen pancake.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Expect scattered light lake effect snow showers in the NW wind snowbelts tonight with less than an inch of accumulation. Warmer weather is in store for midweek with highs in the 20s and even into the low 30s in the far west. Two round of light snow is expected on Thursday into Friday morning. 11 degrees this morning under partly cloudy skies. I got about 2" of fresh snow on my deck from last night. Nothing new to report on the trails except the loggers are done out by Pine Stump now, we`ll whip that in shape today and all will be good in sno-mo country! Our entire system will be groomed today, all trails are in GREAT SHAPE!!!!
My biggest question is....where is everybody? Its been slow all season U.P. here.....even on the weekends. Ya`ll are missing out. COME ON U.P.!!!!! Quick report as I`m heading out the door to go grooming.

Workin her pretty hard to get what you want, but we are.
She likes 7MPH tonight, should give an indication why we're Not much into stopping for oncoming traffic.
