SIDNAW - WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Sno Valley Riders Snowmobile Club >> Groomer Report;
Trail Condition: Good
Last Groomed: January 18th, 2026
We are grooming on a regular basis, conditions allowing.
The trails are very good.
Please ride on the RIGHT side of the trail and STOP at the stop signs!
Stay on the trail, if you don’t we could lose trail permissions on private property.
Groomers have the right of way on the trails, pull over and stop to let them safely pass!
We now have Groomer Tracker installed in our groomers.
We groom every day that the weather conditions and equipment allow. Unforeseen circumstances may prevent us from going out, like a major blizzard and being snowed in at our homes or equipment breakdowns. #westernup

Keweenaw Peninsula Trail Report – 12/11

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 12/11

How many of you ride with family or little ones at times? (Share a photo!)
Joe and his 5 year old daughter 🥰 Harper have been out riding The Bill Nichols Trail and said that it was great heading out of South Range and even better out of Toivola where The U.P. Superior Snowmobile Club has previously groomed! Others that have been out scratching the itch have reported the same!
It appears the weather might start cooperating a bit next week! 🤞 Snow is in the forecast just about each day in the 10 day long range forecast, starting the middle of the week! The temps start dropping each day also! 🥶

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Snowmobile Club –>
– 12/10

We have begun opening gates on our trail system but grooming has not commenced. As previously noted, Trail 122 is closed 🛑 (pending reroute) and Trail 133 is closed 🛑 waiting on many areas to freeze and hunting. Otherwise, please be careful on our trails if you choose to ride, very early season conditions exist. Keep doing those snow dances, we need it to get started! ❄️ 💃 We will update when we’re able to get things moving! Trail 3 in Mohawk.

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Snowmobile Club –>

Early Season Trail Updates:
Trail 122 – Closed at this time. It is pending re-route approval due to a landowner revoking permission. Stay tuned. We hope to have a re-route by Christmas.

Trail 132W – Closed for logging until the ground freezes. You can still access Lac La Belle via 132E. It is signed for this closure. DO NOT GO AROUND THE SIGNS!

Trail 3 – We will have a portion shared logging until the ground freezes. The area will be plowed and is signed. OBEY THE SPEED LIMIT AND YIELD TO ALL LOGGING EQUIPMENT! Equipment may be present any time, any day. Near misses could / will result in the trail being closed until logging is complete. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND YEILD TO ANY EQUIPMENT!

We’ll update as soon as we can, keep the snow dances going we need it! #keweenaw
