KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western U.P. Trail Reports – 12/17
Well we had multiple groups share riding experiences yesterday on the trails within the Keweenaw Snowmobile Club and the U.P. Superior Snowmobile Club trail system.
All reports we good for early season riding conditions! Graham Jensen & crew are staying at The Trailside Lodge in Calumet, right on trail 17. They put on over 100 miles today riding up Brockway to Copper Harbor and back. They stopped in at Cliff View and at The Mariner North. Graham shared this video (and photos-but fb only allows one type of media to be shared in a post) and said that they were not expecting the trails to be in as good of shape as they are! He said they only removed about 5 branches and minimal rocks.

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western U.P. Trail Reports – 12/16
I took a little ride on Trail 3 from Toivola to South Range today. Surprisingly there are quite a few sleds out. The trail is a little ruff in spots but the worst is the road crossings. There are some pretty big banks to get over on some of the roads. It’s definitely early season ride so please ride with caution.

It’s been a fine snow due to the extremely cold temps.
With the wind there has been whiteout conditions and extremely dangerous for highway travel the last couple days 
Well the Nest cam got knocked off it magnetic mount so I apologize for the view hanging upside down at this time.
I’ll try and get it back aligned today

We received another 6.5 inches this morning and it's still snowing at 10:00am. Pretty much white out conditions all morning and it's still very poor visibility.
