Michigan Snowmobile Trail Reports

December 12, 2025 – 12:00 noon update: – FRIDAY HIGH NOON – A great early-season snowmobile weekend is on the way. Lake effect snow and cold temperatures expected this weekend. All of the snow belt areas of the Upper Peninsula and Northern Lower Michigan should have enough snow for riding – though conditions will vary. Snowmoble clubs have been working hard to clear the trails of brush and fallen trees from earlier this winter. Look out for some fallen trees and brush on trails that the clubs have not gotten to year. There will likely be some open water in some areas, however, the cold temperatures this weekend will help firm up any soft and wet trails. Have a great snowmobiling weekend!
