TRAVERSE CITY UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club >> 12/29
We received varying amounts (6 to 12 inches) of snow throughout the trails so far. We have some members going out tomorrow looking for downed trees due to the high winds. The groomers will be going out on the south and west trails tomorrow to pan the new snow down. If your out and see a downed tree that needs cleaned up, send us a message.
Be careful out there and remember, Ride Right, Ride Safe, Ride Sober.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> A major winter storm will continue to impact northern Michigan, bringing dangerous travel conditions to much of the area. Heavy snow and strong winds gusting to 45-55+ mph are expected to create localized blizzard conditions across open areas at times from mid-morning into early afternoon. Drifting snow may make travel especially difficult on secondary roadways. Power outages will also be possible, especially across areas that experienced icing on Sunday.
