Grayling Trail Report – Fay’s Motel – 01/24

Greetings Sledders,

Just got in from 7 hours of grooming and I have discovered that I can’t do that length of run without a body part becoming a short term causality, in this case my back. Lots of leaning forward focusing on the blade.

Okay enough of that talk. Let’s talk trails. We did get 5 or so inches locally and it was for the most part moisture free which is alright we’ll take it. Everything groomed out nicely and you should be able to find good rides.

I’m going to call it fair to good. The reason for the fair part is traffic and what it will do to the icy corners. This is the first good snow that we’ve had this year and traffic will be heavy. The groomers are running a heavy schedule over the weekend and we will do our best to keep up which is hard to do.

Next report first of next week.

Ride Often and Please Be Safe,
Keith, Sandy and The Girls

CADILLAC WINTER PROMOTIONS

January 24, 2019

Well we received about 4″ of wet snow on Wed 1/23/19. Groomers are still parked waiting for a decent base to be packed down. We are supposed to get more LE snow this afternoon/evening on top. I haven’t been out, but there should be sufficient snow on the trails as there are lots of tracks in Cadillac west.. Ride safe, ride right and ride sober, your friends and community deserve it.
