HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 01/21
Not much to update as far as the trail conditions.. we only got 1-3 inches of snow on Tuesday, our gates are still closed and we haven’t started grooming. We are supposed to get some lake effect tonight and tomorrow so we will see what that brings.
JORDAN VALLEY AREA UPDATE via Jordan Valley Trails Council >> Hats off to Mike, Rich and Pete for spending two cold days fixing a minor issue found on the track of the Pisten Bully! These guys have been on the recovery and fix of the blown track and this latest fix this year and we couldn’t do it without them! Hopefully our machine issues are behind us for the year! Our Milwaukee Tool are a key part of program. From our impacts, grease guns and chainsaws in the cab of our units, these tools make our volunteers lives easier! Hopefully next year we’ll have a building in Alba to get out of the weather. Go check out the go fund me or visit the Antrim County Snowmobile Club and help us make this happen! gofund.me/a9c1cde53 Our groomers were out all weekend making up for the down machine. Thank you to our volunteers for adjusting their schedules! Trails have come back around since we’ve received some fresh snow to mix in with the crusty snow left from the meld down. Looks like we may receive another foot by next weekend which will help build back up the trail. This week will be frigid so we will adjust grooming as needed for snowfall and temps. Make sure you check out Groomer Tracker for all our grooming! 🚧Trail 4 near the Pinney Bridge there was a car in the trail today, please use caution as the trail maybe rutted from the vehicle or recovery effort🚧 #jordanvalley#gaylord#petoskey#snowphotos... HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> Thank you to everyone who came out for the 61st Annual Moose Jaw Safari! We had about 175 sleds leave the barn and nearly 300 by the time we reached the town hall. It turned into a beautiful day, with the sun even making an appearance. Our club members worked hard all week preparing the bean soup and getting everything ready, and we truly appreciate such an amazing turnout. #harborsprings#petoskey#snowphotos... See MoreSee Less

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 01/21
Groomer Operators are pretty much back in full swing grooming trails for riders each day and night. There was a pause to grooming operations due to limited snowfall there for awhile.
The recent snowfall this week has enabled them to resume their schedules and trails are shaping up nicely, as you can see from these photos! Groomer Operator Joshua Rowe Sr. was one operator out all night and these are a few photos of those ribbon 🎀 trails he was laying.
Previously we had mentioned that trail 135 was in pretty poor condition, Josh has said he has been able to groom it the past two nights and it is getting better. He also said that Brockway Mountain
still had some thin areas and of course drifting with the winds we have had. Riders have all been commenting that the mountain was in good shape and the views are amazing!
✅ Trail 124 (previously closed for logging) is now OPEN. There was a water hole on this trail also but It has been filled in and appears to be holding strong 🤞 huge thanks to the Groomer Operators working so hard on this one
⛔ Trail 133 is closed for the entire season due to logging
⛔ Trail 3 from Dollar Bay to Lake Linden is closed due to the Father’s Day flood of 2018. You can still access Lake Linden from Calumet
⛔The Freda Loop – Trails 120 & 121 are also still closed due to the Father’s Day Flood of 2018
⚠ if you are planning to try to ride out to High Rock Bay, please use extreme caution as the water hole is still an issue. Groomer Operators have worked on filling this in several times and will continue to do so. Hopefully with a good freeze and more snowfall they will be able to get the hole locked up.
All other trails are open and will lead you to so many breathtakingly, beautiful areas to view all that the Keweenaw has to offer!
Scroll down the page to read other rider reviews of trails and see their photos! Please feel free to share your photos and riding experiences with us and as always, let us know if we can help with anything when planning a trip to the area.

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports >> W❄️W! What an amazing week it has been on the trails! The first half of the week was unusually quiet as far as traffic and the trails seriously couldn’t have been better! As we move into the weekend, traffic is definitely picking up but trails have still been in great shape! Huge thank you to all of the clubs and groomer operators! Ryan Bennet and Nikki McGill set out to enjoy some of the trails this morning from Krupps Resort and they weren’t disappointed!
