We have snow up to your hips and on a short person shoulder to neck deep. EPIIC!!!! If you haven’t seen deep snow in Michigan head north. Trails in the area are incredible hats off to the clubs but also our sponsors and club members we wouldn’t be here without the support. Enough babbling, get off your but and stomp some pow. EMERGENCY ALERT: There have been truck and trailers parked in the Landing Zone at the corner of the Charcoal Grade and Laurel Lake Rd. This space is POSTED LANDING ZONE!! The space was created by the DNR for Emergency Helicopter Medivac situations in the event of an accident. Please do not park in the Landing Zone!
Traffic Hazard: When leaving the staging area in town and going past the Logging Museum snowmobiles must ride with the flow of traffic. This means if you are going North ride the East side of the road and when returning South ride the West side of the road. Ride with the flow of traffic. Please and Thank You!
Greetings from the Great White North. We picked around 4 inches last night and Lake Effect has kicked in today. Updates are listed below. As always we want to encourage safe and responsible riding!! Please ride with caution.
Stay on the Trail!! Ride Right and Be Safe!! Please be respectful of private property, howbeit it fields or peoples front yards.
Curfew in the Village of Newberry is 11:00pm to 7:00am.
All three machines are up and running
Trail 9: Groomed to Holland Lake last night and are headed that way again already today. Very good!
Trail 45: Groomed last night and will groom again tonight around 5:00pm. Very good.
CAUTION AREA!!!! There is logging off of Trail 45 before Camp Snort.
Trial 9/2 South: Groomed to Trout Lake last night and are grooming down to Epoufette tonight around 5:00pm. Very Good!
