“ Hello- We have received about 5-6″ as of midnight tonight! Things are looking up for an enjoyable Pres. Day weekend. Can’t comment on areas very far away, but our immediate Coyote, LPL, Boon, Mesick areas should be rideable/decent for this weekend. Expect ICY spots throughout , but we should have enough snow to enjoy the weekend. RIDE RIGHT! Pete “

We’ve gotten 2-3” of fresh snow, so far, and it’s still snowing. If we get another 2-3”, the trails should be decent!

33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)
Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)
Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery
Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Snow will diminish this morning, ending by early afternoon. Some parts in northeast lower and far eastern upper Michigan may break out into partial sunshine this afternoon. However, north-northwest to northwest winds today will remain brisk. Gusts to around 30 mph will be common. Accumulations remain consistent to this mornings forecast with 3-6” for most of the area and localized 7”+ possible where heaviest snow falls this evening and tonight. Winter is coming back, and trail base has held up surprisingly well! Our early season snows and panning have paid off, as most all trails are showing no dirt. 3-6″ of snow is expected in the next 24 hours, and it’s snowing lightly now. With this fresh snow, riding can resume in our area and hopefully grooming efforts will restart soon... #cadillac
