CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Cadillac Winter Promotions >> 01/11 <> <> CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort >> 01/11 The snow is back! ❄️ We’ve seen about 9 inches of fresh snow in the last 24 hours, and trail conditions are looking pretty good. The restaurant is open until 9pm today. Lunch & dinner are ready! Come warm up with us! Some Groomers are Going Out! Trail Conditions: Fair-Good; Base: 2-3”; New Snow Last 24 Hrs: 6-9” We received 6-9” in the last 24 hours! It was a good, heavy system snow which will help the trails. Most trails should get groomed or panned in the next 24 hours. (Pic of Trail 6, west of Caberfae Rd.) Reminder that the White Pine Trail is still quite thin, and not in great shape. Special thanks to our son, Lew, and The General, Mike Kinnie, for spending several hours yesterday trimming and picking up large branches from the trails. All riders, please be considerate and take time to pick up branches from trails, as not only are they a safety hazard for riders, but for our groomers as well. Trail Conditions: Fair; Base: 1-2″; New Snow Last 24 Hrs: 1-2″ Winter is coming back, and trail base has held up surprisingly well! Our early season snows and panning have paid off, as most all trails are showing no dirt. 3-6″ of snow is expected in the next 24 hours, and it’s snowing lightly now. With this fresh snow, riding can resume in our area and hopefully grooming efforts will restart soon. There are still some low hanging liimbs, so be careful out there and ride right. Snow totals will be the highest yet again into the Keweenaw Peninsula. It's almost a carbon copy of today. Ice totals, however, are primarily a concern for the Upper Peninsula.
