Cadillac Area Trail Report – 01/17

CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort – 1/17

Groomer just carved the path for the Coyote Cup track for tomorrow! Forecast looks great with 6+ inches expected tonight! ❄️❄️❄️ #snowphotos

January 14th, 2020

Hello- Rode today around Caberfae, Coyote, LPL and Boon. Most conditions were pretty good overall, but some thin spots on Trail 6 south and west of Caberfae. Was told conditions were also mostly good up around Mesick as well. Chance of a few inches coming this week and possible storm for the weekend? Should be busy upcoming weekend, with MLK long weekend for many and also hosting our Coyote Cup youth race. We could use another 4-6″ to really get things in good shape and have more for groomers to work with. At this point, the groomers have not gone out, but we’re getting close. Think SNOW! Pete

Lake Gogebic Trail Report – 01/17

LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Bergland Bay Bar – 1/17

1-17-2020, 10:30 AM:
Happy Friday everybody. I had -13 at my house this morning. Burr! Trails are all still in excellent condition, groomers were out again last night. We are expecting a high volume of traffic this weekend due to the Martin Luther King holiday. With that, I was informed that law enforcement will be out covering the entire UP and Northern Wisconsin. I’m told that if you aren’t doing anything stupid, you won’t be bothered. They will be focusing on stop signs and loud exhaust. Just make your stops and don’t braap, especially in and near towns. Have fun, be safe, and come show us your smiling faces.

-13 on the way into work! IT’S COLD 🥶! We’re under another winter advisory. Expecting 8-15 inches with lake effect snow. Stay warm!
Ride right, ride safe and stop at all stop signs. A bunch of traffic this weekend so be courteous of your fellow riders and groomers.
Stay safe and come see us!
