Munising Area Trail Report – 01/31

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – 1/31

TRAIL REPORT – Friday, 1-31-2020
TRAILS HANGING IN THERE
Overall trail conditions are good to very good. We are saying conditions are good because of the soft snow and ribbons not holding. Still, we really need a substantial snowfall to bind things together and keep the groomed ribbons lasting longer. Looks like a warm weather weekend coming so conditions are expected to get choppy rather quick between grooming runs. We will continue to groom and do our best to at least keep the chop to a minimum. Keep the cold weather snow dancing going. Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe! Full Trail Report Here: https://www.algersorva.com/trailreport/01-31-2020/

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 1/30

Groomer is out for another run tonight! We need new snow and cold. Road crossings are soft and starting to get dirty. Trail is holding up well, but weekend traffic and another warm up will change that. Be prepared for trails to get rough in the afternoon this weekend…

Antrim County Trail Report – Jordan Valley Trails Council – 01/31

JORDAN VALLEY UPDATE via Jordan Valley Trails Council – 1/29

North 10 (Elmira north) is good snow cover but it’s sugary and the trail has been fairly smooth with random thin spots (reminder we only groom 10 miles then another club picks up from there) Jordan Vallry is maintaining thin as well as the issue stated above. EJ direction is fair, we still are avoiding the swamp just S of Graves Crossing, but it’s just a short stretch 131 is holding its own South trails are in decent shape, 76 has been a chore but the guys are getting a handle on it, again be cautious of the logging. There¢ is a new trail in place on the power lines between 4/76 and 4 It is marked and groomed, please try and stay on the trail. Just in time for the weekend, 40* WEATHER! Weather will hinder grooming but we’ll send some detectives out to monitor conditions on sleds. Ride right, ride safe and have a great weekend!
