IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club​ – 3/7

Our entire trail system was groomed overnight (out and back, some spots saw more runs). Thank you Dan, Matt, Bob and Steve. Trails are in very good condition with poor road sections, but we tried to put snow down where we could. Post pictures of your ride today in the comments!! We lost a black case with prescription sun glasses on 160 we think. Contact us if you see if! Have fun be safe, stay on the trail! ..

WATERSMEET / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via U.P. Thunder Riders Snowmobile Club​ – 3/7

Grooming was suspended March 2 due to ice and lack of fresh snow. The trails are very rideable right now but they are icy and road areas are bare. The trails do stay open until March 31. The temps are getting warm, the sun is out and melting will begin. Use caution riding during this time of the year, anything can develop very quickly, areas of water, dirt on the trails and some ditches may fill with water causing wash outs! Side Safe and RIDER. BEWARE!
