CHEBOYGAN AREA UPDATE via Cheboygan Trailblazers Snowmobile & Trail Grooming Club​ – 2/19

TRAIL UPDATE: Trail 9 to Mann and 720 to long point were groomed last night. Groomer Dave reported big drifts but they groomed out great!!
99 will be groomed today and trail 9 to Mac city will be groomed this evening. 👍🏻

Now here comes the downer: We are hoping to run groomers Thursday. After that, the weather guessers are saying it’s going to be above 30 Friday through Monday. So what does this mean? There is going to be snow on the trails but we are going to have to park the tractors until temps get low again (looking at Monday night). Trails will get rough by the end of the weekend. 👎🏼

Mother Nature sure has given us an interesting winter. ..

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA​ – 2/19

FRESH SNOW – GREAT TRAILS!
Overall trail conditions are very good with a good amount of fresh new snow and great riding conditions. In general we have a great flat base with trails starting to set properly for us and only a few sugary, icy corners, mainly on Trail 419 in the hills behind Munising. High traffic areas near Wetmore and North of Shingleton are expected to get beat up between grooming runs. Keep the cold weather snow dancing going, Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe!
