Cadillac Area Trail Report – 02/28

CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort – 2/28

Pete’s Trail Report from this morning, with pics taken of Trail 37 from groomer on Tuesday (before the fresh 2”) …

Hello- Only about 2" of Lake Effect has fallen here at Coyote, but more to the north. People are out riding and reports are varying greatly, depending on where they rode. I would recommend staying north of M55 in general. Trail 37 just north of M55 is plowed down because of logging operation, but it gets drastically better when you get up to the Coyote Express (aka-373). Trails are pretty good, but hard packed around Lost Pines, Boon and Mesick areas. Still tough getting in and around Cadillac, but things improve northward. Would probably avoid our RR grades, but interior trails are still quite good. Long range temps don’t look good, so better get out and ride some…carbides are made every day. RIDE RIGHT! Pete

Munising Area Trail Report – 02/28

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – 2/28

TRAIL REPORT – Friday, 02-28-2020
FINALLY SOME GREAT WINTER CONDITIONS!
Overall trail conditions are very good to excellent with great riding conditions and Lake Effect Snowfall. In general we received 6 to 12 inches of snow so far with more in some areas. Grooming results are coming out excellent. We do have high winds creating white-out conditions along the Lake Superior Shoreline with M-28 currently CLOSED from Munising to Chocolay Twp. Ride with caution and remember our grooming machines run 24 hours so stay alert. Keep the cold weather snow dancing going, Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe!

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 2/26

The trail is in really nice shape right now. A little icy in spots so if you have ice scratchers then I recomend you have them down. Other that that it’s beautiful out here right now. Pray for more snow. Should see some lake effect this week yet. Let’s hope it comes. Right on the right and stay safe out there…
