TRAIL REPORT Monday, 12-28-2020
LAKE EFFECT SNOW OFF TO A SLOW START
We did get 2 to 5 inches of snowfall over the past 24 hours, more so to the Northeast corner of our trail system. We are seeing some die hard riders out on the trails but conditions are unfavorable, visibly seen kicking up the gravel and dirt in areas. Conditions will be assessed in the morning to determine if some daytime trail prep will be productive in the few harder hit areas of snow. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Quiet weather is expected today as highs climb into the 40s with increasing clouds through the day. Power outages caused be the ice storm continue over portions of south-central Upper Michigan and may last through the night.
