Happy Saturday! We still have many wet areas across the system, most are starting to freeze up but please ride with caution this weekend! We expect high traffic this weekend, ride right.

Groomer report!
Good Morning Everyone. Groomer Dan W and Groomer Todd W were out this morning grooming the grade from Greenland to Twin Lakes and back. We at the Superior Snowmobile Club understand the impact the closure of the trail 13 loop has had on the grade. With the added sled traffic we have increased our grooming runs on the grade to keep it as smooth as possible for you throughout the day. This means daytime grooming, so please be aware that you may run into a groomer during daylight hours. Dan and Todd estimated 3" of snowfall overnight near Greenland and 6" closer to Twin Lakes. The grade is in really good shape at this point. Have a safe and enjoyable day everyone.

From December 30th (left) to today January 19th (Right) we have got over 60 inches. Grooming is is full swing here in the Copper Country and trails are getting in pretty good shape. It’s still early season riding with water hole trying to freeze up and few downed limbs. But for the most part they are very rideable.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Extremely cold temperatures and wind chills continue today into Saturday morning while lake effect snow continues over the NW wind snowbelts. Frostbite can occur in less than 10 minutes on exposed skin in this weather. It was a very snowy and cold day to be out riding. Better than half my run was in white out conditions which made it very difficult to even see the trail at times.
Due to the severe weather we will pause grooming for the next couple of nights.
