Western U.P. LAKE EFFECT SNOW Alert – 02 / 09
Lake Effect Snow Warnings are now in effect for Gogebic and Ontonagon Counties through Tuesday afternoon. Moderate to heavy lake effect snow will continue at times overnight through early Tuesday A.M. Reduced visibility can be expected at times near Lake Superior in blowing snow. Storm total snowfall amounts of up to 18 inches of snowfall in a few spots is possible through Tuesday afternoon when the snow diminishes.
