14 degrees with light snow falling. Still less than an inch on the ground around Frederic. Still calling for 40s for Friday and Saturday so riding will most likely still be junk around here.

On the other hand Seney was out with their groomers last night and that area and towards Grand Marais will be the place to ride this weekend. I am sure it will be crowded with sleds there.

I just tried to call Patti up at the Clark Motel in Strongs to see what the conditions are there but I didn’t get her. Hopefully I will talk to her later today.

So todays pic is from last weekend at the Clark Motel and if you haven’t ever been there it is a don’t miss place to stay. You will understand after your first visit. They only have 9 rooms so it doesn’t take long for them to fill up if conditions are snowing and only an hour past the bridge. Trail Update – Mornin’ Sled Heads, we still have a groomer down waiting for parts, but our operators are amazing and managed to get all 110 miles of our trails groomed last night.

Thanks to our President, Randy, for putting in some long hours – you da man!!

Trails should be pristine with the 6-8" of new snow and a nice cold temp last night to set the base.
