3 degrees this morning and a clear sky. Picked up about 4 inches of snow on my deck yesterday but some other places around town got closer to 6. Here`s how things went yesterday out at da barn…..

First let me give a HUGE shout out to all that helped….it was quite a day! I was out there along with Groomers Mike,Gerald, Dave M.,Kevin,Larry and a guy who is UP for the week to ride but decided to help us instead, Jeff Regan. THANKS TO ALL!!!! Gerald even took the day off work!!!

We got the machine with the bad cooling fan fixed. The other machine with the major failure is 75% back together. We all put in about 10 hours away from our jobs and businesses. Gerald is going back out there this morning to finish `er up, yes, he`s taken another day off from work!! I`m sure someone else is going out to help him but I don`t know who. So thats enough with the broke down groomer report…..on to the trails which this is supposed to be…..

Groomer Dave M. is runnin the South trail #8 this morning.

Groomer Scott is heading to the Falls this afternoon.

Remember we have just 2 machines running at this time. By later this afternoon we`ll have the other one up and runnin and we`ll have to test her out first before we can send it out. We`ll be running a full schedule by tomorrow.

All I got fer today. I gotta get busy around here!

It’s 17 out with light snow in the air. Yesterday afternoon was a little sunny but cold. There was enough sun to make the roads wet but it didn’t hurt what snow we had.

It certainly was more quiet yesterday with sleds than what I thought it would be. Just had a group stop in with their truck and trailer on the way to St Ignace where they are meeting up with their entire group of 75 sleds. They are hoping for some good riding up there. I have calls from several riders that are coming up but as of right now its still seems empty around town.

That’s the best I can say for today. I took a couple pictures out the front door here this morning.
