KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupp’s Resort –

Good morning
Kruppers!
The trails are thin but we have high hopes that this storm puts a smile on us snowlovers faces!
It’s hard to say till it comes!
There are talks of a bit of rain for a bit which could impact the snow totals here in Kruppys back yard!
I have a feeling their will be smiles but ya never know!
I just took a ride down to Houghton and the Bridge gates are still locked as of 11am but there is talk of them opening today!
I will let you know as soon as I know!
As I traveled north out of Twin Lakes towards Houghton I saw a few groups of sledders on trail 3!

The base is thin but the trails are snow covered!
So watch the Kruppy cam and keep your fingers crossed that we get slammed!
I will update snows and add pics as soon as something happens so don’t ask what I think will happen because I only know what you know at this point!

Well same old story the groomers are still in the barn. We only have about 5 inches of snow on the ground. We are waiting for snow, it’s in the forecast but we don’t know how much we going to get at this point. Hopefully we’ll be on the trails by Friday.

People are riding we see lots of tracks, just use caution because we/the groomers are not out there like normal keeping the trail safe from possible downed trees or wet areas.

If we don’t get the predicted snow just bring extra carbides and come and ride. 😉
