Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/02
It was a nice cold night with below zero temps and a little new snow falling. Finally yesterday the first sleds of the season rode into here and while sled traffic was still light it was the best day so far this season. I did hear that there were a lot of sleds up at Starvation Lake and out that way.
There have been probably 20 sleds in here so far today. I don’t know how long this will hold as there is still warmer temps into the 40s predicted for this weekend. The cold from last night was a welcome bonus. At least we are finally started. Thanks for checking in. Pete
