TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club >> 01/11 GTASC trails received about 6 inches of snow. All grommers are currently out. Thanks Pat, Dave and Mark for grooming this evening. Groomer Pat sent these pictures in. He said the trails have an icy base but the trails are grooming up nicely. Go out there and enjoy them. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Snow will diminish this morning, ending by early afternoon. Some parts in northeast lower and far eastern upper Michigan may break out into partial sunshine this afternoon. However, north-northwest to northwest winds today will remain brisk. Gusts to around 30 mph will be common. That will produce areas of blowing and drifting snow today, especially in places that are more open and exposed. #miweather #gaylord #cadillac #benzie #traversecity #petoskeySnow will diminish this morning, ending by early afternoon.
