Grand Marais Trail Report – Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – 01/17
GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – Trail 8 headed west on H-58 and down the Hurricane river trail wasn’t bad. Trail 888 headed south on the Rhody creek truck trail started to get a bit nasty.
Then trail 88 that comes off the plowed section of Adams trail headed south wasn’t too bad till you get to the NASCAR corners. In the bottom of each one was full of moguls. But on the way back north after cutting the corners to throw snow in the bottom of them, it seemed to groom out well and was fairly smooth. And the short section of trail 8 on H-58 headed into town wasn’t too bad just tried to get rid of any of the moguls.
Do be careful on that sharp corner headed to town by Sable falls the bottom of it is just about down to ice on the pavement. Groomer Max
