HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club​ – 2/18

So far we have about 4” of fresh snow and it’s still coming down!! One of our groomers was out last night and groomed from the Harbor Barn to Larks Lake, trails 71, 704, 721, & 705. The Railroad Grade and trails from the Harbor Barn to Pellston & Alanson we’re groomed Sunday night. All trails are in good shape!!

29 degrees this morning and snowing pretty hard out der! Hard to say how much snow we got last night cause of the wind, but I have a drift thats knee high on my deck and in my parking lot!

Needless to say this is gonna help our trails a lot! Not like they are bad now, they are all at good to very good, but we did need more snow. I`m not gonna use the "word" yet but I`m fixin too. Just gotta hear from the groomer drivers after today……soooo…..get ready……just want to be totally honest.

Thanks for your feed back on our FB page. You were all very kind. I was expecting some negative stuff cause I knew the trails got really beat up over the weekend with all the traffic. This shows me you all do understand how it works. We can`t be on every trail constantly and try and keep them smooth all the time. It amazes me how fast they can get tore up with the amount of traffic we had on them.

K. Thats it fer today. Stay tuned. I expect the "word" to come out soon!!!
