Groomed: All were reported in very good to excellent condition. Thank you for riding the 906!! <> <> ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via Hamilton’s North Coast Adventures >> 01/30 Riding across the Ontonagon River bridge on trail 12 is a sight to behold! You soar 80 feet above the river on a dedicated section for motorized vehicles to use, how awesome is that?! It’s one of the tightest groomer sections we have that provides very little margin for error. It’s also a great view of Lake Superior, the Trapp hills to the south, and really lets you know how pro-snowmobile Ontonagon is. It’s a tremendous destination full of amazing eateries like Up north cafe (best pancakes on planet earth), Syl’s Restaurant, GiGi’s Coffee and Sandwiches, Connie’s Coffee and Subs, and of course the famous Roxey’s Bar and Grill! Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
