Ontonagon Trail Report – Scott’s Superior Inn – 01/01

Happy New Year to ALL! Not so happy with trail report, we got a couple inches of fresh snow since last report, certainly helps but not enough to groom yet, good news is it has been cold so water holes are starting to freeze up, hopefully we get the snow they predict, riders are still trailering 13 miles from Ontonagon(from Greenland to Houghton, and around the Porcupine Mnts) to pick up the better snow, not great , but ridable

15% mid-week discount, Sunday thru Thursday!
Starting March 15th , all our lodging will be discounted by 30% including weekends!!!

Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 01/01

Afternoon Update: Trails are good. Riders went up to the bridge yesterday and report it was a good ride. They started to take trail to Bay Harbor and turned around… it was wet. Everywhere else decent riding. It has snowed thru the morning giving us another three inches of white powder. Saw the groomer go by about noon.

Happy New Year…. so happy to start the new year out with snow!

Its snowing this morning. At this point we have about an inch of new snow. Forecast says 1 to 3 inches today so I am guessing we will most likely get 3.
Riders are happy.

Just spoke with a group that rode to the bridge yesterday. Said it was a good ride, mostly good trail conditions. They had started on trail to Harbor Springs and turned around because it was muddy.

Others have rode in all directions. No complaints. Hey… for our first snow, 10 inches this is great to finally be able to ride..
