LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 03/15
Photo dump from last night’s groom. First time using excellent this season but yes the trail’s in our system are in Excellent condition!! We are grooming daily and that will continue until we are no longer able. Enjoy the longer day’s and warmer weather with the light traffic, you won’t be disappointed. There’s also a park and ride right in the middle of town if you just prefer trailering here for the day. Plenty of time left, get out and enjoy.

WATERSMEET - WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via U.P. Thunder Riders Snowmobile Club >> TRAIL REPORT 1/21/26-Groomers went out yesterday and today and groomed our entire system. Our trails are in excellent condition. Trail boss Jim G and wife took a 250 mile trip and every trail ridden was fantastic! Shout out to Sno valley riders, Superior Snowmobile club, Kewenaw Snowmobile Club, Iron Range Trail Club and of course our own UP Thunder Rider Groomers! #westernup #snowphotos

A rare day groom was done today. Kinda nice seeing people and scenery instead of a black hole every night!
Today 102 and 8w we're covered and tonight 13n, 13s, 8e and 1n will all be covered. Trail's are holding up great and laying flat.
Temp's remain COLD 🥶!! and we had light snow in the air all day..

We had our share of cold weather challenges yesterday but all is well.

Trail # 101 from 12 to 13.
Trail #13 from 101 to 137.
Trail #137 from 13 to Ontonagon.
The attached picture is the bottom of "Rock Hill" on trail #13 after Steve's double pass.
We had a new operator on his first solo into The Porkies last night!! Welcome Chad to our
small dysfunctional family!

Cold and Snowy!!
Currently we're sitting around -9°.
Snowfall, I think it varies in each particular area but guessing we've received 20"+ over the past 3 day's..
As with any significant storm we receive it will take a few passes to get everything back in shape but the trail's hit tonight turned out good!
Trail's covered tonight 13n, 1n, 8w and 8e.
8w to Wakefield is in good shape now and no more water holes, a little narrow in spots but 💯 passable. Video is of 1n to White Pine. Thanks everyone.
