Grand Marais Trail Report – 12/27

Update: so far, we’ve gotten 8 to 10 inches in town, I expect lots more on the trails. Lots of wet spots toward Paradise. Riders are saying it’s very wet and are having trouble keeping their shields clear w which doesn’t surprise me at 32°.

As of this morning the snow is falling and they’re calling for up to 6 inches by tonight. The trails are doing well and snowmobilers say it’s good. Quite frankly there just isn’t much snow to get bad, it’s hard to build moguls without a lot of snow. Check our website sno-trails.net

and go to our links page and make your reservations for the New Year. It is time to ride. Just remember I consider it still early season and you may find ice, water holes, and some bare spots here and there. Be very careful on ice and boondocking… Just saying!
