Well unfortunately it looks a lot like last season. No ‘real’ snowfall expected for the next week in our area.

We know many of you travel to Traverse City just to Snowmobile. We are looking forward to seeing you all in January.

We will be running 2015 Mxz sport 600 singles and 600 and 550 touring sleds this winter.

STAY AND PLAY PACKAGES

In association with several lodging establishments, we are pleased to present you with our new Stay and Play Package options. Standard packages include one snowmobile and one nights lodging. Deluxe packages include a dining gift card at Peegeo’s restaurant. Stay and Play Packages can be tailored to your request. All packages are booked through Blue Sky, and most of your questions regarding the accommodations may be answered by visiting the individual resort websites.

Gogebic Range Trail Authority Trail Report

Good evening everyone we still need more snow. We only have about a 3 inch base and we are hoping for more so we can start rolling and packing are trails very soon. We are ready to get out there and make wonderful trails so everyone keep doing your snow dance and pray for snow. Just a reminder trail 11 north and 11 south are closed this winter. Gogebic Area Grooming, Inc. Trail Report

As of this date snowmobile trails are not open due to warmer than normal temperatures and inadequate amounts of snow. Although we just received a few inches we still do not have enough to either ride or groom trails. While temps are expected to drop below freezing this weekend long term forecasts are predicting 30’s for highs at least through Christmas. I will keep you posted if any conditions change.
