Grooming Report 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016
All trails are currently in great to excellent condition.
Temp 30 degrees and climbing.

Today the Pisten Bully cleaned up grading along M-28 then groomed South from Wetmore to Trail 7 South down to CR440 and back.

We had a structural break-down with the Deere last night but our dedicated Team got it back up and running this morning. Today she made a run out Trail 8 East to 422 and M-28 to do some clean-up at the railroad crossing.

Tonight we are trying to outrun the quickly rising temps.
The Pisten Bully will be grooming Trail 419 West through Munising and Christmas then Trail 7 down to Trail 8, East to Campground Road and returning to Wetmore via Trail 7/8 & 419. The Deere will be Grooming Trail 8 from Wetmore, West to M-94 (West of Trail 7), back East to M-94 in Shingleton then returning to Wetmore.

Friday & Saturday Groomer Pilots are on stand-by right now. 40 with rain and 40 with sun forecast for Friday & Saturday and with no real snowfall forecast over the next week, warm weather grooming would really shorten the seasons trail life. We will post grooming plans in the morning once actual temperatures are known.

Munising Trail Report. We have approximately 24 inches of snow for base on the ground; more in some spots and little less in others. We are predicted to get higher temps and rain over the weekend/next few days. Grooming is underway and all trails are being groomed. Trails are in good to excellent condition.One of our groomers is down right now. Have a great day and happy trails………
