Grand Marais Trail Report – 02/22
2-22-18 Thursday . Just finished the South run. (8:30am) Trails 443, 88 East. Snow conditions are good. The corners had high very! hard packed banking and the inside corners had deep moguls. Typical moguls throughout the run. Everything flattened out fairly nice. But from the groomers view, I didn’t get it as smooth as I hoped. I’m going to get some breakfast then jump on my sled and check it out. Might be smoother than I think. Pic is 443 Groomer Phil
Ran our west trail Wednesday night, 8, 88 and 89. Found them all in really good shape, handful of moguls by Kingston lake and on the Mahoney but nothing to speak of. It is in excellent shape now, about 8 degrees out there now so it should harden up great and be ready for the heavy weekend traffic to come. Picture taken prior to being groomed. Groomer Will
