Paradise Area Trail Report – 01/05

January 5, 2023

24 degrees this morning and cloudy. We picked up a couple inches of slush outa that last "winter weather advisory" last Tuesday. We did get some more snow last night but its hard to tell how much cause its been so windy but I`d guess a few inches. I have almost knee high drifts in my parking lot. We had a good meeting last night with all the groomer drivers and we even had a few new faces show up! This is good cause our numbers seem to be gettin smaller every year. Anyway, here`s da plan for today…….

We are taking 2 machines with no drags and 4 guys and heading out to da Falls on trail #45. The main objective is to try and make it thru the high water and clear any downed trees on the trail. I`m pretty sure the gates will remain closed so please don`t go around them……you`ll be sorry! We will get them open as soon as we can!! If all goes well today we`ll head into the swamp south of town probably this Saturday.

Soooo……thats what I have for ya`s today.

LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and get colder
Groomer Chris
