LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 02/18
Boy you all did a number on 102. My goodness 11hrs later… we covered 13n and 13s 102 and 1n. All are smooth. The snow has been recycled so many times it looses it’s compaction quickly then freezes rock hard around 2 or 3am. Best riding early morning. No pics today, I’m going to sleep

Good morning. Couple thing’s to note or be aware of if riding our trails. In the first picture it looks like Greg H. had a pucker moment!! And of all places the top of 1n. Easily able to get around. Also water has submerged the first mile of 8w to wakefield right when you cross over M28. That section hasn’t been groomed but sleds are getting through. 1s where it comes out of the woods by west shore resort and runs the ditch is also not being groomed until conditions allow. Otherwise all else good. 13n, 8e, 8w and 1n all covered last night.. Have a wonderful day and get out and ride!

ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via Trail Adventures with GPS >> EOD 1/23/26
4 of us started out from Scott's Superior Inn and Cabins today with Lake of the Clouds as a POI in mind. 2 of us made it, and we were lucky to follow and see 2 Groomers from North Country Snowmobile Club UP several times along the way! (2 returned back to Scott's safely)

Dangerously cold wind chills this morning and again tonight into Monday morning are expected, Cold Weather Advisories are in effect. The common theme has been cold and lot's of snow!! We saw a balmy -22 tonight with trail's laying out nice.
We weren't sure what to expect with the new snow and not grooming because of temp's but overall everything looked pretty good! Trail's covered tonight, 102, 13n, 1n and 8w. We only have 2 guy's this weekend so tomorrow they'll jump on 8e and 13s with regular rotation Monday.

ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP >> A special shout out to Galen and Art for braving the cold temperatures yesterday. They brushed along the grade trail 137 and improved the safety with signage at the junction with trail 12 to Greenland.
Trails are in great shape. Team Green, Wyatt and Jay, groomed our trails 1, 12 and 13 last night.

This is the coldest we've seen it since we moved to the up in 2015. Temperatures at our shop were 16 degrees warmer at a mere -20* below zero. Bluebird day here in our corner of the greast peninsula! Tractor Mac is headed from White Pine to Lake of the Clouds & South Boundary Road (Trails 1 and 11) and Wyatt is grooming from the NCSC clubhouse to Greenland and back (Trail 12). Please ride right, stay warm and check your Groomer Tracker so you know where our guys are at if you are riding today.
