Sault Ste. Marie Trail Report – 12/22

About 15 degrees this morning with lite snow out of the East and breezy. We are supposed to get 2-4 inches all together but the wind is drifting it. The trails are in fair shape but not much base and this new snow will add to it. Still wet area between Kinross and Raco but the rest of our trails are good riding. We groomed part of Paradises trail to the west of us because the swamp is too wet to bring their drag down thru it, about 5 miles on trail #8.

Benzie Visitor Bureau – 12/20

Guess what! Yay! Its our time baby! Snow is still in the forecast! They are calling for seeveral inches today and a possible storm coming in Sunday. Temps have come up a bit so its packing better! There is a decent base starting at about 4-6 inches in most areas. Groomers were out late Thursday and into this morning on all of Trail #3 & 39. The south trail out of Kaleva is being groomed this morning also and Trail #3 from Kaleva to Thompsonville will be groomed later this afternoon. So it should be looking good for the weekend! Yeehah! Remember the groomers are snowmobilers too and are giving up their own ‘sled time’ to make the trails nice so give them a thumbs up as you get outta their way and pass by! Ride safe, slow down, but have fun! Keep in touch! I love your emails! THANKS TONS for the emails FedEx Lloyd! SEEYA on the trails! Carol
