Gaylord Bureau – 1/15

Jan. 15th 12:30 pm – Gaylord received 1 – 2 inches of snow Thursday. Grooming was done Wednesday night. Trails are in ‘GOOD’ condition. There is a 2 ~ 3 inch base. Snow is in the forecast for the next several days. Temps are warm with light rain but will drop back down to the teens tonight. Then they should groom tonight weather permitting. Watch out there may be some spots that lack snow on the trails!

Sledheads of Frederic – 1/15

It’s a misty drizzly morning in Frederic, not really what we want to see but after about 4 its supposed to be back to snow and cooler temps. Its been nice and cold all week but right now its 31. Many riders out and about yesterday and it will be interesting to see what today brings.

Cadillac Area Trail Report – 01/14

January 14, 2016 – Conditions: Good

We have picked up a 2- 3 inches each day since our last significant snow storm. Some areas of the trail system are great others are still a little thin.

We still need more snow. Was out for a ride myself yesterday and enjoyed the amazing beauty of snow-covered trees and clean fuffy snow throughout our woodlands here in northern Michigan.

You know the trails are smooth when you can enjoy the beauty surrounding you and you are not wasting energy trying to figure out how to avoid the next bump.
