HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/26
Trail conditions are VERY icy!
All of the trails on the east side were groomed last night and a few on the west side. The snow is all fluff so there wasn’t much to work with but we did the best we could.
Our piston bully slid backwards down a hill & off into the ditch just across melody lane headed to Moose Jaw (Trail 721). We had to leave the drag there, we tried to clean up what we could but the hill was far too icy to fix anything. Please use caution when approaching that area!

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Light snow chances linger today, mainly across eastern Upper Michigan, with highs in the mid to upper 30s to low 40s. Just a couple weeks ago it was lake effect snow every single day. Today, a light band of 1-3" near Munising is all we will need to write home about. We even tossed in some humor for those not in a designated snowfall zone. A couple slick spots will pop up along M-28 near Munising, and perhaps around Petoskey if a longer lake effect band happens to form, but this is more unlikely than likely.

Josh groomed 76 to 765 then to trail 7 the railroad grade. From there he went to Weber Lake on 765 and 76. Then groomed 76 back to Chandler Hill Road. #petoskey #snowphotos

Overall the trails are in good shape but we really need some fresh snow. Warmer temperatures are on the way for this weekend which will really take a toll on the conditions & the ability to groom.
