HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 03/03
The east & west side loops were groomed last night & are overall in good shape. Looks like it’s going to be a beautiful weekend but warm temps will take a toll on the trails.
We don’t have any snow in the forecast until Monday.

Just a couple weeks ago it was lake effect snow every single day. Today, a light band of 1-3" near Munising is all we will need to write home about. We even tossed in some humor for those not in a designated snowfall zone. A couple slick spots will pop up along M-28 near Munising, and perhaps around Petoskey if a longer lake effect band happens to form, but this is more unlikely than likely.

Josh groomed 76 to 765 then to trail 7 the railroad grade. From there he went to Weber Lake on 765 and 76. Then groomed 76 back to Chandler Hill Road. #petoskey #snowphotos

Overall the trails are in good shape but we really need some fresh snow. Warmer temperatures are on the way for this weekend which will really take a toll on the conditions & the ability to groom.
