Harbor Springs Area Trail Report – 03/16

HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> 03/16

Mother Nature sure decided to send winter out with a bang! Since Friday morning we’ve received at least 3 feet of snow and the high winds have created some unbelievable drifting. In some areas, drifts have reached well over 7 feet tall. We haven’t seen conditions like this in 10-15 years.

Our first groomer will be heading out on the grade tomorrow morning & we have a pair headed out in the woods tomorrow evening BEFORE dark. If you are out riding, please be aware of the groomers and give them plenty of space.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while we work to get things opened back up.

Harbor Springs Area Trail Report – 03/14

HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> 03/14

Winter is back… at least for now! ❄️

After the 10–14” of snow we received yesterday, another major storm is headed our way and is expected to bring 2–3 feet of snow to our area. Along with the snowfall, forecasts are calling for very high winds and ice, which could make things challenging over the next couple of days.

If we do get the groomers back out, it will not be until after the storm passes.

Temperatures are expected to climb back into the 40s by Thursday, with highs staying above freezing for the foreseeable future, so enjoy the winter conditions while they last!
