IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 12/19
Woofta, a long night for GRTA officers! President Steve groomed trail 8 and trail 2 from Bessemer to Wakefield last night 8pm-2am and Vice President Jerry groomed Bessemer to Marenisco and back, a long haul 6pm to 4am! Trails are absolutely amazing condition. Remember it’s going to be warmer this weekend, what happens to sled trails when it gets warm? They get bumpy faster, so get out early if bumps are to be avoided. We will groom all night as usual. With Wisconsin’s Vilas and Oneida counties opening this weekend our system should see a touch less use, but who knows. 160 remains closed hoping to open before Christmas. Need more groomer operators to help us get it finished up
