IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 3/6 We got snow & overall trail rating being increased back to VERY GOOD! Thank the lake maker & your GRTA Volunteers for making today and this weekend’s riding what it will be, fantastic! President Steve spent 7 hours grooming trail 8 and the ski hill corridor between Bessemer & Wakefield. We’re not sure if it was #heikkilunta or #ullr who was listening but this section saw much needed snow. It improved dramatically, especially after the Wednesday night groom, Brian H. did an amazing job! Groomers will be out most the day on the trails and all night. 160 DID NOT get groomed last night, it will be tonight. 3-5" of fresh snow and zero late night riders will allow trails to set up.
