IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club​ – 3/9

The crews have switch to brushing operations. Main corridor’s are fair and very icy. Trails away from towns and roads are in good condition. For not grooming Saturday night trails are pretty flat. Water hazards are reopening. Ride cautiously if you go out.

Trails have deteriorated substantially this weekend and we are unable to groom due to temps. We suspect trailering to areas to ride will be required from here on out. Trails outside of town remain in great condition, through towns is pretty tough. We are now preparing to brush the wet areas before the trail base breaks up. New season ahead. We will look at grooming next week around Tuesday/Wednesday. Good snow cover on the trails, but lots of melt…
