IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – Trail 2 from Ironwood to Wakefield was groomed last, the ski hill section from US HWY 2 crossing into Wakefield was groomed twice. Corners are again flat and we spread out some of the snow, please be cautious we saw numerous signs of blown corners. The trail corners will get swept becoming icy, please watch your speeds. This week will be interesting, freezing rain and highs in the mid-30’s. We do not groom warm snow or warm nights, typically the trail base holds up better when it doesn’t get broke up by our heavy equipment, it just stays in place longer.
