ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via NORTH COUNTRY SNOWMOBILE CLUB – 12/06

CURRENT TRAIL REPORT:
Poor. No machines are currently rolling or grooming. Spots have 5-8" in the woods, but not enough for us to start rolling. We had a great frost in the ground that looks to be holding! We see low water levels everywhere meaning a little snow will go a long ways! Remember, this time of year we usually lose most the early snow to freezing the trails down because the snow fell before a frost was in. Seeing as trails are pretty tight/froze already, we are looking at a GREAT season ahead!! We will begin more regular updates as snow allows. Magic Groomer Mikey continues to go through our groomer fleet wrapping up the final items so we can work towards a trouble free winter!
