ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP –

Groomer Mikey and Montana Mike were out all night working on trails . 37 degrees and misty today so trails are wet, but we have a cold front coming and snow this week.

We groomed trail 137 from Ontonagon to trail 13 by Rockland and it is in good shape.

Trail 13 from Rockland to trail 101, including rock hill, is in good shape.

Trail 101 to Potato Farm Rd. was groomed and is in great shape.

Trail 12 to White Pine is in good shape. There are 3 wet spots that you can go around – just follow the groomer tracks.

Trail 1 to Silver City, and in Silver City, is fair with a lot of wet spots, but passable.

Trail to lake of the clouds and South Boundary Rd are in good shape with a lot of snow.

Trail 12 from Potato Farm to Norwich Rd is groomed. From Norwich Rd to Ontonagon has not been groomed because of wet spots. You have to ride along Norwich rd.

Trail 12 from trail 137 to Greenland has not been groomed yet because of wet spots. There have been alot of sleds down so drive with caution.

Trails are the best they have been in years for early December riding, ride safe and stay on the right side of trail.

ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP –

Trails are coming together trail 12 from Ontonagon to white pine was groomed today we are not grooming the trail along the Norwich rd or by the airport because of wet spots that need to freeze. Trail 1 from white pine to silver city has been groomed but theres some wet areas as you get closer to silver city trail 1 to lake of the clouds was groomed tonight and in good shape, there’s a bridge out west of silver city with caution tape that will be be decked in the next few weeks trail 137 from Ontonagon to rockland was groomed monday night and in good shape. Trail 12 from 137 has not been groomed or packed because of wet spots hopefully we get some cold weather to freeze up those wet spots. Trail 13 from Rockland to trail 101 was groomed Monday morning and in good shape. We plan to keep grooming every night to get the trails ready for the weekend;) ride safe be cautious and stay on right side of trail
