LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 01/16
We were able to get out early this morning and got 102 packed in tight before the rain and warmer temps. Conditions aren’t favorable but we’ll survive with cooler temps Wednesday into Thursday with a chance of snow. We will be keeping groomers off the trails until conditions allow us to resume regular day to day… ( paw print was on my way back down on the freshly groomed side. Big kitty!!) Happy Monday and think Snow

WEATHER UPDATE via Michigan Storm Chasers >> Snow and ice return tonight, and continue through midday April 4th, 2026. Snow totals will be the highest yet again into the Keweenaw Peninsula. It's almost a carbon copy of today. Ice totals, however, are primarily a concern for the Upper Peninsula.
