GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc.​

Groomer Report: Went west tonight. Trails are in pretty good shape. There are some areas on 89/H58 that you need to keep an eye out for. Bare patches of ice and pavement and a few pot holes in the trails with standing water that will probably freeze over at night but melt again once the Sun hits it. But other than that section it’s looking real good. Stay safe out there and enjoy what time is left to enjoy before it all melts away. – Groomer Kevin.

Groomed South late again Monday night 8, 443 and 88 east of M-77. Trail saw little traffic yesterday and is in great shape. One more weekend of grooming so for nice flat trails you bubbleheads better get up here and enjoy!!!!! Groomer Will

GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc.​

East on 8 for my last run of the season. Trail has lots of life left in it. Wet in just one place and no dirt in any corners Want to thank everyone at Sno Trails for having patience with me as I made my way through my second year. Great bunch of people! Groomer Dan

Ran the west trail Sun. Night. 8 west, 89 and 88 "the grade". The grade is smooth and hard, for the most part, trails 8 and 89 are smooth. However, due to being in shade most of the day, there are some rough and choppy corners. They set up after dark and were to hard to cut down. Be alert in the twelve mile beach area there are several big ruts/pot holes. 4th pic-88 "the grade"; last pic-89 stopped to discuss trail conditions with sledders. Groomer Phil

Groomed South Sunday night late. 8, 443 and 88. Trail was moguled on the inside corners to start everything flattened up good. 1st photo is of a beautiful moon on the McCloud grade. Be safe and ride right. Groomer Will
