We have had some snow lately and now have about 9 inches on the ground. There are still tons of waterholes on the trails but we are working on freezing them in. Between the expected snow fall this week plus the cold temps we are having we are expecting an improvement on the trails later this week.

We have had one of our groomers down and that has slowed the freezing in process down but we are back up and running and will have a better idea on how the trails are doing on Wed the 13th.

We have 13 inches of snow on the ground on the snow gauge right now. I am upgrading the conditions to Good! The temps have been below O lately so dress accordingly.

Wast End of the Island : The west end is in good to great shape.

East end of the Island: The east end is being groomed today and is also in good to great condition.

We do have a few areas of logging going on right now so watch for log trucks on the trails.

Note: it only takes 10 mins for hypothermia to set in once your feet get wet and you are a long ways out there!
